Montenegro

Being one of the youngest countries in the world (declared their independence on June 3, 2006), Montenegro was one of our favorite places we went during our holiday.  Though we spent very little time in the beautiful country, 1 day, we would 100% go back and stay longer!

Geneva, Switzerland: Sleep, Eat, Play

Geneva was a city that we had wanted to travel to since we participated in Model United Nations in High School.  Geneva is the headquarters of Europe’s United Nations.  It’s also the headquarters to the Red Cross, global hub for diplomacy and banking and hosts the highest number of international organizations in the world.  We were lucky enough to travel to Geneva during the summer months, which allowed us to see the city alive with crowded streets, boats on the lake and blue skies.

Barcelona – El Born/ La Ribera Districts

 

Two years ago when we were in Barcelona we learned that El Born/ La Ribera was transforming into the new happening district. Having stayed in this area we got to explore and found it to be one of our favorite spots to dine, wine and play! This past trip we stayed at the W Barcelona for the night on our way back from Mallorca and spent most of our time in El Born/ La Ribera after a hot lap through the Mercat de La Boqueria.
