Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo

The best part of Puglia is that the region is relatively small, so day trips are very easy! We hired a driver to pick us up from Polignano a Mare and take us inland to three cities.  Find our more about our day trip below!

Milan, Italy

It was our first time in staying in Milano.  Kay had passed through Milano Centrale on the way to Lake Como 10 years ago while studying abroad in Florence.  Milan is a high fashion, fast-paced metropolis.  Very different from other Italian cities we have visited.  It’s the city of the future, where people really care about what they are wearing, creativity is big business and work drinks are an art form.

There are many different neighborhoods – some of our favorites being Porta Nuova/ Isola and Brera.  We enjoyed walking the streets and exploring this Northern Italian city, but wouldn’t make a special trip back unless we had to pass through or had work there.  If you find yourself in Milano, be sure to check out these spots and you will be sure to have a lovely time ! Day Trip to Siena, Italy

T.W.O. had the opportunity to take a day trip to Siena for business.  Short on time and unlucky weather, T. was able to see the famous square where the Palio takes place each year, have a proper lunch, tour the Duomo, wonder the small streets of the Tuscan town and most importantly get a gelato! Here are some snapshots from her adventure.

ROMA, ITALIA

Most recently, half of T.W.O. got to travel to Rome for work – first time for T and it won’t be the last! Though only one of us went, that didn’t mean K wasn’t there with her in spirit. Like always – an itinerary was set and restaurants were researched.  Here are some of the highlights of the trip!

Hats Off to Traveling

If you haven’t already noticed, T.W.O. enjoys traveling.  And like most people, we usually get a souvenir  (well actually, we should say souvenirs) when we travel! One of those souvenirs has to be a hat. Yes – a hat.  It’s an item that we will wear the rest of our trip and get to bring it back home to the States.  Beach hat, winter hat, ball cap – doesn’t matter! Here are some of our favorite hats we got a long the way.
